Hola,
my name is Nadia. My full name is Nadia Ingrida Saraswati. You can call me
Nadia or Nana or Nadnad (or maybe Donad - this nickname was given by my school
friends because I was very chubby and fatty haha). I was born on June 22nd, so
that means that I’m Cancer girl (very moody and expressive but also loyal and
romantic).
As
I told you from my last post, that I lived with my aunt's family in Bali. My
mom still lived in Surabaya East Java, because she hasn't retired from her job.
My dad already passed away on February 20th 2017 (may you rest in peace, Dad).
I'm
a first daughter, first granddaughter. I have one sister, we have different age
4 years. My sister and I always argue and make some fuss. Many people think
that we aren’t a sibling because we’re never show our affection. But deep in
our heart, we know that we love and care each other.
Born,
grew up, attended school and university, all I did in Surabaya, The City of
Heroes. All my friends that I know and my families from my dad are in Surabaya.
Most of my life, I spent it in Surabaya.
So
why did I move to Bali? I was struggling so much when I’m looking for a job. I
wasn’t confident enough about how I look. I was very fatty. And I was afraid if
I’m not accepted because of my appearance.
And then my aunt (my mom’s sister) gave me encouragement to lose my
weight and get much healthier. I was on a strict diet (not eating rice and red
meat-beef, pork, lamb, only vegetables, fruit and chicken/fish) also exercise
every day for 5 months. And I could get rid 20 kilograms of my weight. Now I'm very confident about how I look. Even
though I'm still fatty, but I'm proud and love myself.
The
other reason I move to Bali is I love Nature, especially sea and beach. In
Bali, so many beautiful beach (also private beach that I couldn’t resist by its
beauty). It could be sweet escapes when I’m stressed out with life. The salty
smell of the sea, the crashing waves, the wind that blows, the shining sun
(when sunrise or sunset), it’s kind of mood booster, addictive drugs for me.
I
like to learn new things. Full of curiosities. Want to know about anything that
I never learned before. Besides, I like to make new connection with other
people. Whether it’s for make friends or make business connection or maybe
learn about them. But sometimes I'm very hard getting close to someone new.
Because they think that I’m a stiff and unfriendly person from their first
impression.
Well,
they can think what they want. But actually, I’m a friendly and easy-going
person, very loyal and willing to help. The most important is I like to smile.
It doesn’t mean that I’m crazy or anything else, but when I smile I think I can
spread positive vibe to others. Wouldn't
it be wonderful if we could spread a positive aura around us?! So, we can start
it with a little smile.
Okay,
I think it’s enough to introduce myself in this post. I guess I already reach
my limit. But I promise you, I will try to write many interesting post in this
blog.
